TASP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy

TASP is a NASP-Approved Program. The NASP-Approved Provider program permits sponsors of continuing professional development to offer "NASP-Approved" professional development for school psychologists. Obtaining continuing professional development from a NASP-Approved Provider provides assurance that the activity is offered by a sponsor approved through external peer review. In order to maintain our status as an approved provider, TASP makes every effort to comply with the policies and guidance for NASP approved providers.

TASP CPD Policies (updated: 8/9/2026)

In order to maintain our status as a NASP approved provider, all attendees must meet the attendance and evaluation requirements for a session to be added to an attendees CPD transcript.

Attendance and Evaluation Requirements:

  1. Attendees will need to complete the required check-in procedures no later than 15 minutes after the session start time.
  2. Attend the session in its entirety (session that are 3 hours or longer will include structured breaks).
  3. Complete the electronic evaluation for the session following session attendance. Session evaluations are typically available once the session concludes and remain open for at least 7 days following the session. Specific information for the available dates for evaluations will be listed on the individual event's page.

Failure to complete the CPD requirements noted above and any event specific requirements will result in TASP not being able to provide CPD documentation on an attendees CPD Transcript.

Access to Attendance and Evaluation Forms:

Completion of attendance forms for session must be completed on site during sessions and will require that attendees have access to internet and their TASP account login information (username and password).

While many of our event sites provide WiFi to attendees, it is not the responsibility of TASP or the event site to ensure attendees have internet access. WiFi internet access may be limited, disrupted, interrupted, or disconnected during an event and as such attendees should make sure to have alternative options for accessing the internet to complete session attendance during a session (ex. personal hotspot, cell phone data plan, etc).

Attendees will need to be able to access their TASP account on the device they intend to use to complete the session attendance and evaluation forms. It is strongly encouraged that attendees ensure they have the checked to ensure they can successfully log in to their TASP account on the device they plan to use for completing the required attendance and evaluation document. To support access, TASP has provided some sample text forms you can access below on your device to test your device. If completed successfully, you should be receive a confirmation email indicating as such.

If an attendee is paying for an event via a Purchase Order (PO) or another entity is paying via PO on the attendees behalf, PO information must be received and processed prior to the start date of the event in order to guarantee access to the event. Attendees who do not have PO information submitted and processed may be barred from attending the event and/or have CPD information withheld until payment processing is completed.
