Outstanding Graduate Student Award: Specialist and Doctoral Level
This category is intended to recognize a doctoral and a specialist level student that demonstrate evidence of impact upon graduate education in school psychology after entering a program, and sets the student apart from other students regarding:
- Leadership skills
- Creative endeavors
- Observed Personal Growth
- Interpersonal Skills
- Professional Competencies (NASP Practice Domains)
- Conference Presentations
Eligibility: The graduate student must be 1) enrolled in a school psychology program and have the status, “Intern;” 2) have a minimum overall grade point average of 3.75; and 3) be a student member of TASP.

- Level (Specialist/Doctoral)
- Letter of recommendation that includes the following information:
- Expands upon the suggested categories from their school psychology professor and/or a field-based supervisor
- Internship Site(s)
- Nominee's University
- Nominee's GPA and Date Degree will be Awarded
The Awards Committee Chair will contact the nominee to notify them of their nomination and request their resume/CV.
This award will be presented at the awards ceremony at the Annual TASP Professional Development Convention.
